Bella Hara - South

Welcome
BellaHara... From the movie "Scarlett", the sequel to "Gone with the Wind", comes the name of the Irish home of the O'Hara family, "Ballyhara". We love the movie, "Gone with the Wind"; we share Scarlett's French/Irish ancestry; we love the romance of the antebellum era, and we're both a couple of strong, independent Southern "Daddy's Girls" at heart, sooo, we changed things around just a little to make it our own and came up with our kennel name... BellaHara. BellaHara means, "Beautiful - it will do" in Spanish. This is the name we chose for our kennel because it so epitomizes the stunning & intelligent breed of dogs we love, train, show and work-the Australian Shepherd. The Australian Shepherd is our chosen breed and it is the ONLY breed we raise! As committed fanciers of the breed, WE ARE ENTHUSIASTS OF STANDARD AUSTRALIAN SHEPHERDS ONLY and promote the future of our breed as it was originally intended!!! BellaHara kennels has two locations. BellaHara North is located in western Nebraska and specializes in producing versatile dogs from the working bloodlines of Hall of Fame kennels, Mistretta, Gearhart and Las Rocosa. Our location, BellaHara South, is located in central Oklahoma and focuses on producing red-factored black tris. We are particular to the working bloodlines of Hall of Fame Kennel #1, Las Rocosa, and Hall of Fame Kennel #63, Imagineer, as well as the show lines of Hall of Fame producing kennel, Briarbrook and Backdraft. I also have a sincere weakness for a particular coat pattern in our breed that I like to refer to as "Tri with merle trim." We welcome you to the world of Bellahara South Australian Shepherds! Bellahara South IS the Home of the Black Tri Beauties and we're convinced our dogs are the most beautifully breathtaking canines in the world!!! Take a look around Bellahara South and see if you don't agree! We are hobby kennels loving and promoting the breathtaking beauty and versatility of this amazing breed!...
